Group folder/work

Now that we have done our filming, it is now time for writing it down onto both our blog and into our group folder. We need to print off our risk assessment sheets, storyboards and plot narratives into our group folder.

in the next week we shall ask a few volunteers to appear in an audience feedback video in which we shall record the volenteers answering questions about clips and views towards the music video's that we will show and ideas/influences towards our music video.

Filming has finished, now time for good ol' editing :)

We managed to film all our necassary scenes in a matter of 3 days so we are ahead of schedule which is awesome :) on Friday, we will start uploading and editing our footage. Hopefully by the 18th Feb we could be finished but first we need to see if we need to re-film or change anything with the footage that we have.

filming from Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday - We filmed all of the scenes which "start" the dream story at the back of the college field. The begining part is wen our subject wakes up in a woodland and notices a hooded figure, they walk away and our subject tries to follow him.

Wednesday - We filmed all of the "end" part of the dream story in which our subject follows the hooded person to another location and suddenly notices that he has dissappeared. He turns to see the hooded person, they reveal themselves to be the subject and in shock our subject falls onto the floor. Here we will edit to finish the sequence which we filmed on monday which was the 'waking up' scenario. This will be cut to go after the bit where our subject falls.

filming from monday

we filmed all of the alleyway scene aswell as the sleeping scene.

Errors - the only errors that we had were the constant people that kept walking through. Because we were in a public place it was harder to continuously film as the public kept walking past.

Filming that will occur from Monday the 7th Feb - Thursday 10th

this is a layout as to the filming, the times we will film and the scenes we will be doing in each session. Aswell as a brief synopsis of what the "story" of the music video is about.

Story - Guy walks into shot and falls asleep on brick wall

Cut to first dream scene – woodland, finds himself in woodland. Wanders around and then suddenly notices mysterious hooded figure who hints to follow him. Guy follows him and camera cuts to guy sleeping at brick wall

Next scene is guy wandering down alleyways looking for the hooded figure, he is hiding round corners and guy tries to follow, again as he goes round corners and camera cuts to him sleeping again.

Final scene is of guy in woodland and then he turns and figure is there, he reveals and it is himself. Guy falls back and wakes from dream

Cut back to sleeping and he wakes up and walks away. As he walks away, the camera pans to the side to reveal the hooded figure still there and he walks off, ends with gentle blackout.

Friday – footage

On Friday the 11th after the filming, we will gather the footage we have and start putting it on the computer.

DAY	TIME	LOCATION	SCENARIO BEING FILMED
Monday	2-3pm	alleyway/journey to Sainsbury’s	Scene starts with me walking into the scene. Here we will film me walking around and looking around. The hooded figure is there behind/round corners and I am trying to get him and the camera cuts every time I go round a ‘corner’.
Tuesday	1-2pm	back of the field/me wandering around	The “beginning” part of the dream. I look around and I’m wondering where I am. I suddenly notice a hooded figure and he hints me to follow him. He disappears and I try to follow him, this leads to the next DREAM SCENE.
Wednesday	12-1pm	building next to Sainsbury’s/Brick wall – sleeping scene	Here is the “main” story. Me sleeping, every now and again, I toss and turn. After being filmed sleeping for about 5 minutes I suddenly wake up and react as if “it was all just a dream…” I then get up and walk off. As I walk away. Shot changes to moving along and it is hooded figure who is there.
Thurs	1-3pm	woodland/Woking Park opposite tennis courts	The “final scene” of the semi story, with me appearing in the woodland, I wander around looking for hooded figure. I turn and he appears, look at my face and hooded figure reveals himself, it is me. I fall/show in shock and cut to me sleeping.

Filming session from friday

The clips and footage that were film varied in many different ways, including filming the whole band together, filming each member of the band, filming in a different "light" and mobility filming in which the cameraman moved around the musicians to make the audience "fell like they were there".

It was successful and we have gathered alot of footage. Now we will be filming from Monday the 7th Feb, in our own time and we shall be filing the "story" element of the music video.

First filming session

Friday the 5th of February will be the first filming session for mine and nahida's music video.

Idea behind scenario - myself and other people will pretend to play the musicians from Lostprophets. We will pretend to "perform" the song and we will record this several times.

- 1 camera shot of the whole group together
- camera shots of each individual person
- and 1 "moving" camera which will move around/ react to the band
